​VGCSA Golf Turf Apprentice of the Year Award

TAFE institutions are invited at the end of each year to nominate a candidate for the Victorian Golf Turf Apprentice of the Year Award. To be eligible, nominees need to have successfully completed all studies and demonstrate they are a good ambassador for their employer, their college and the VGCSA. All candidates are interviewed by a VGCSA selection panel to determine the final winner who is automatically registered as a State finalist for the ASTMA Graduate of the Year Award - Golf Course, in addition to being a recipient of the VGCSA Golf Turf Apprentice Of The Year Scholarship.

VGCSA Superintendent & Trade Recognition Awards

VGCSA members are invited to recommend a VGCSA Course Superintendent and/or Trade representative who has demonstrated ongoing professionalism, Association support and is held in high esteem by their industry peers. The winners are determined based on majority votes with the annual awards announced at each VGCSA Annual General Meeting.
​The 2025 Recognition Award nominations are now open until 5pm, Thursday 3 April.
