VGCSA Centenary Book - 100 years in the making
Initially termed the Victoria Curators Association, the VGCSA was formed in 1927. From its inception, the Association has progressed throughout the years, in its mission to provide education, resources, training, advocacy and a network for Golf Course Superintendents throughout the state of Victoria.
2027 will mark the significant history of the VGCSA's success and ongoing strength as a vibrant Association. The VGCSA will be commemorating our 100 year milestone with a special Centenary book showcasing pioneers, innovations, stand out events and unique cultural camaraderie that have shaped the golf turf industry. A valuable educational and historical memento for all VGCSA members and golf turf managers, the aim of the high quality publication is to also engage, enlighten and entertain all audiences and sectors of the golf industry. Outside the VGCSA constituency, the Centenary book distribution will extend to golf clubs, state and international superintendent associations and golf industry organisations.
With production underway with appointed author Nicholas Brasch, the Centenary book will be launched at a gala event as part of the VGCSA Centenary year celebrations. We invite Trade members to support this pivotal landmark of the Association by becoming a proud VGCSA Centenary book sponsor. The VGCSA is offering three categories of sponsorship as noted below whereby companies have the opportunity to provide the nominated funding as a one-off payment in full or as time payments of three annual instalments between 2024 – 2026. To take advantage of our instalment payment plan, please reserve your booking before 1 December 2024.
